Last day already? Well, I guess we're hitting Powers Creek then.

Here's some random shots of guys on the wooden berms of Powers.

Off the wall...

After yesterday, the boys were a bit tired, but Jimmy still had todrop the Monster Amigo.

Anyone up for another lap? No? Then I shall call this shot "Losers."

Another great trip in the bag. Until next time.

Up to Kelowna to ride with our buddy Ryan McKenna agian. Ryan does some pretty spectacular building up in the Gillieaerd area. If you've seen any recent New World Disorder films or DropIn TV, you are familiar with Ryans work.

Here's Jimmy on a new line that I'm not supposed to post pictures of. But it's such a nice shot I had to put it up.

Our hero, Ryan. This is on one of the older trails up there.

SoCal Ryan on the Boss Hog stepup.

Next time you hear about someone using HGH to cheat at cycling, remember this trail.

It'll make you sick.....

Serious air. That's a solid 25 vertical feet there.

This is more reasonable.

Jack lays it on the line on Boss Hog.

We hit Salty's Beach House for dinner and for the excellent view.

I'm gonna guess 36D.

Anyone care to differ?

Arawana day, and we had a new guide for this one. This is Gabe. Hi Gabe...

Arawana is quite the collection of cunning stunts. Here's Jack getting out cunned.

Jimmy has a tendency to make skinny stuff look easy.

Jerk.

Jack's first road gap. He's making this one look easy.

Everyone hit Bud Height. Ryan had a rough landing or two, but it was all good.

Some cheesy bluebird air shots.

Even Jack didn't want to hit this one. Such a stupid landing...

We got three laps in , despite my forgetting the keys to the van at the bottom. Here we are during the retrieval phase. Sucks, doesn't it?

Happy first day of summer.

Jack, Jimmy and Ryan are back for more. Too bad Jim didn't make it up, but it sounds like he's got lots on his hands this year.

For a change, I got the guys to come up to the Okanagan instead of just riding the Shore again. Here's Jimmy and ryan rolling rocks Canadian style.

Jack has really stepped up his riding this year.

Well, old habits die hard I guess.

Look, it's me!

Skogland came out for the tour too, but as time would tell, it wasn't to be for long.

Here's a long view of a new stunt on the Bog in Penticton.

Ye olde Knuckleduster gap.

Skogs puts some style into it.

Jim on the road drop.

...and Jim again over the Knuckleduster canyon.

This was pretty cool. We came across a mouse and a snake having a full on battle right in the middle of the trail. The snake won.

Dan had to head home. His grandma got sick all of a sudden, and he caught a plane out later in the day (she's just fine now).

Thought I'd try out YouTube for some video action. Sort of funky colours in spots, but not bad for free vid hosting.

Music is "Let Me Be Your Liquor Man" by the Minni-Thins.

Enjoy...

Last day, so we're hitting up Powers. Gotta go out with a bang, eh? Here's Courtenay again, on one of the many berms of Powers. Not bad for a park rat. Of curse, she comes with great references, being the woman behind one of the men of ROAM.

This is Courtenay's brother, who built the website for ROAM. He almost landed on me when he fell off, but all's well that ends well.

Check out the intensity on Chris's face.

Those BMX skills are coming back now.

Jason gets the wall ride on his first try.

OK, those BMX skills are officially dusted off.

As usual, we ran into some of the builders.

The bugs at the top were brutal. It made for somoe frantic work wile we swapped out a wheel for the final run. I wish I had a pic of hte crash, but Jason managed to trash a wheel, dent the fork, tear a tire, and bunch of other stuff. All because he thought he saw a sheep.

Kevin, ya dumb hucker.

Chris on some more skinny stuff. He was ruling it today.

It takes how many guys to check the oil? There's a story here, but I'm not sure I'm gonna bother. Basically, you shouldn't put 10 litres of oil into a 6 cylinder Chev.

My work here is done.

Awesome tour. You guys are welcome back as soon as I finish detox. Thanks for a great weekend.

First I have to wish my parents a Happy Anniversary. They've been married for a few hundred years or so now.

And now on to the riding....

Brian Park says "Hi!" to everyone at the NSMB.com forums.

We hit up Arawana today. Jason continued to learn how to ride mountain bikes. Here he is getting a lesson on Bud Height.

Ted was picture perfect under bluebird skies.

There's some new stuff on Arawana, including a stupidly huge jump they call the Seperator (likely because it will seperate both your shoulders on landing). No pics of it this week, but I'm heading back there soon, so maybe next week. This is Chris on the jump just before it.

Ted gets a road gap. Courtenay isn't impressed. Keep trying Ted.

Hey Matt, remembering those BMX skills yet?

For dessert we hooked up with Dax for a Rusty Muffler.

It's a little more country than the other run. Hows the uphill boys?

Some stunts and stuff kept us interested.

Courtenay on another teeter.

We finished up at Hillside winery again, where we managed to offend everyone within hearing distance with foul language and filthy stories.

I guess four bottles of wine at the end of the day will do that to you.

And to finish the day?

Mmmmmmeat.

A bunch of guys from the States, mostly related. How will I keepthem under control? Ahhh, the dog will help.....

The trip started a bit slow. There was yet another accident in front of us. We didn't have to render first aid this time, but we did get to hang out on the highway for a good portion of the night.

I should probably introduce you to another new face around here. Courtenay will be helping out from time to time. She's seems to be an OK rider....

Here's Matt on the Peat Bog.

...and here's Kevin on the same stunt.

Here's Kevin on the ground.

Jason isn't related to the rest of them. He's some kind of foreigner with an unnatural interest in sheep. New Zealand is it?

Courtenay shows us how.

More advice from Courtenay.

Another way to get high in Canada.

Or you could try this way.

Ted on a new stunt on Code 4. Quite a bit of new work on the old trail this year.

Jason again on the road side gap.

Oh, Jason. Is that you? I can see that you've never ridden a DH bike before. Yeah....obviously.

Chris throws down a gap. Funny how a little competition between the brothers goes a long way...

The BMX skills look a little rusty there, Matt.

Oh Jason, you're such an ass....

Well, I don't kow if that describes any of us, but you can always join the debate at NSMB.com if youre interested.

Yup, first heli drop of the year. A little celebration. You know, the full moon in June, a couple of birthdays, an engagement.

What do I really care? I'm just happy that's my bike in the sling there.

The weather was really decent, too. It was raining in Vancouver, hailing in Whistler, and we had mostly sunny skies.

Well, it couded over from time to time, nad there was a really brief sprinkle of rain at one point, but nothing serious.

The best part was the 20' of snow on the ground.

Once you got he hang of it you could wail down anything, so we hit some lines that are essentially cliffs when the snow is gone.

Harley even came out, which is awsome since she's 12 years old now. I thought for sure this would be her last time up there, but she did just fine.

Roy looks pretty gripped here.

One of the Queebs (thats slang for Quebecois for you foreign types).

It's big terrain.

Totally unrideable without snow, massively fun with. I somehow pulled a couple of hundred feet down one of those pitches with BOTH wheels locked up.

So many pics, I gotta split the post up. Here, watch Wade eat for a bit....

Actually, there was plenty of this sort of action before lunch. It's hard to show how incredible this forest is in a pic.

Suffice to say you expect Frodo to appear at any second.

There's a couple of steep sections from time to time. Some of them you just have to session.

Like this one.

..and this one.

OK, that's lunch. Feeling rested? Good, cause here we go again.

It's been a while since I took a little bike down any of these. It's way more exciting this way (oooh, Joe Boxer!).

So many first timers...

..you can almost taste the fear.

Of course, there's always the price to be paid. This is one of the climbs. If you look closely, you will see the faster members of the group up above on the cliff.

Of course, for every action the is an equal and opposite AWESOME ROCK to play with. Tuck and roll, Wade...tuck and roll.

Skip gets even Awesomer.

Happy Birthday Jacques.

Well, I feel fine. Anyone up for another lap?

I'll take this as a "no."

Harley seemed OK with it.

Something about cold draft beer at the end of an epic just seems right.

Welcome to the CBC Ripper. I'll be your waiter this evening....

A great day for racing. Some wet and slick weather to make it more interesting.

This section near the end (the 2 rock faces) claimed more than a couple of victims.

No serious injuries though, which suited me fine as I was the 1st Aid guy for the lower part of the course.

Because of that, I got to go first. In keeping with my "Racing is Stupid" theme, I didi it chainless and got thouroughly spanked.

Yep, it's the Shore.

Someone must have been in a hurry this morning.

Damn wallride. I bet ya only 5 or 6 riders got both wheels over the line.

Alo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ha....

Mountain Bike Action shot.

I always said Geoff Pendrell looked good in a dress.

Another MBA shot.

Jacques, you should get a set of tires for this one.

....and Satan takes a break. I guess he was tired after Tuesday.

Rippin...

.....slippin....

...and hittin it.

Ooooh, so according to some random chance of the calendar, we're all going to hell today. Well, maybe you are. I went to Fromme with Barb and one fo her supervisors from the airport, Andrew.

He's sort of rusty with the skills, but he's getting back into pretty quickly. Nothing like Upper OilCan to get you back on track.

He seems to be doing a lot better with the skinny stuff than a couple of weeks ago.

Too bad you can't see his face, he's totally shitscared here.

Some random guy cruised past. No idea who, but it's a good shot so there you go. Plus he had red tires. Maybe it was Satan.....

Of course, women are the root of all evil, so here's a nice shot of Barb onthe new rock rollercoaster on Pipeline. What an awesome amount of work. Thanks to Greg and some other guy (I think he's Czech).

First ever teeter for Andrew.

Well, that was fun....and it didnt' even rain. Hmmmm, maybe the world IS comoing to an end.

Kevin from California is here for the day. Typical Seymour day, rain, mist, that sort of thing. Nice day for a ride.

Plus, I finally got some gear from Richie to ridie in. It's a bunch of Adidas gear, just in time for the World Cup. I've always wanted to look like a soccer hooligan onthe trail.

Kevin gets a bit misty over it.

Yup, the usual, low light and blurry. Lots of fun. Thanks for the visit, Kevin. I'll see you next time.
